GENERAL

Is your slime edible?
No! Do not eat. This product is not edible. Keep away from clothes, small children, pets, furniture, and sensitive skin. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and nose. Should not be played with by children under 7 without adult supervision. Wash and dry hands well before playing. Do not purchase if you think you are at risk of having an allergic reaction to borax, fragrance oil, glue, food coloring, shaving cream, or essential oils.

Why is my slime sticky?
Slime may arrive sticky due to shipping times or hot weather. Use your included borax activator one spray or drop at a time to reactivate slime. Be sure not to add too much activator or your slime will become tough and won't stretch.

If you've had your slime for a while and it becomes sticky, follow the same procedure to fix your slime.

Slime does have a limited lifespan and can become deflated or dry over time. If this happens, it's best to buy new slime.

Why is my slime stiff?
If your slime is stiff when it arrives it could be due to cold weather during transit. Please let sit in a warm room for a few hours to warm up.

If your slime is stiff due to adding too much activator at home, keep the slime sealed in an airtight container and let sit for a few days to a few weeks depending on the texture.
Slime does have a limited lifespan and can become deflated or dry over time. If this happens, it's best to buy new slime.

How long does slime last?
All slime has a limited lifespan but as long as you take care of it properly it can last quite a while. Always keep your slime in an airtight container in a cool or room temperature environment.

Be sure to wash your hands before playing with slime to limit the oils and bacteria that are introduced to the slime while playing. Always play with slime on a clean surface.

Why is mine a different texture than the picture?
The consistency of the slime upon arrival might be different from the picture due to shipping conditions beyond our control. Each order comes with a care sheet and a borax activator to fix and maintain slime. We try to package everything separately to make sure you can create the slime exactly like the images at home!

Is your slime made with borax?
Yes, our slime is made with a diluted borax activator. If you believe you are allergic to this ingredient please do not play with the slime.

I'm allergic or sensitive to fragrance, can I get an unscented version?
Absolutely! If you are allergic or sensitive to fragrance and you would like an unscented version of any of our slimes please contact us at help@ammaslimes.com with the headline "Unscented Slime Request" and let us know which slime you would like!

What if I'm allergic to an ingredient?
Do not purchase if you think you are at risk of having an allergic reaction to borax, fragrance oil, glue, food coloring, shaving cream, instant snow, or essential oils. Some slimes may have coconut or peanut scents, so be sure to check carefully before ordering if you are allergic.

 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

What's included in my package?
Each package will include the items you purchased, some fun extras, an activator, and a slime care sheet!

Where do you ship from?
Currently we ship from Destin, Florida!

Can I change the address on my order?
If you accidentally put the wrong address in and need to request an address change, please email us at help@ammaslimes.com by the NEXT DAY in order to get the address changed. If you request an address change after this time it's not guaranteed that it can be changed.

I didn't get a confirmation email after I placed my order
If you do not receive your email confirmation, please double check the email you entered at the time of placing your order, and be sure to check your email spam/junk folders. Occasionally your email provider may block our confirmation email. If you don't receive it after checking your email and junk folders, please contact us at help@ammaslimes.com for a copy of your receipt.

How do I track my package?
After placing your order you will receive an email with your confirmation number. Once your package is sent out you will receive an additional email with a tracking number for you to track your package.

How long will it take to receive my package?
Once orders and payment are received, you should expect your order to arrive within 1-3 weeks (Please allow 1-5 days for processing). Timing will ultimately depend on shipping carriers. There may be circumstances that are out of our control (natural disasters, holidays, weather, etc) that may cause delays in shipment. There will be no refunds due to delayed shipment. If your package has a major delay please contact us.

Tracking shows my package was delivered but I haven't received it
From time to time this happens. Please check your mailbox, front door, any side doors, and neighbors to see if the package was placed there first. If you cannot locate your package, we suggest waiting 3 business days as more often than not, it will eventually show up. If you have waited those 3 business days and your package still has not arrived, we suggest calling your local post office and providing them with your tracking number so they can help you locate your package. In addition, you can file a missing package claim online. We highly suggest calling first as the online form rarely results in anything, from our experience.

The USPS asks you wait 15 days before filing a claim for a missing package. You can file the claim here: https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm 

It is the customer's responsibility to contact the USPS to locate their package. If the USPS cannot locate your package, please provide a written statement as such after 15 business days so we can replace your order. Note, this does not apply to orders that are still in transit - This only applies to orders that have been marked delivered.

**Because there are things that happen out of our control with the USPS, such as lost packages, you MUST purchase Route Shipping Insurance to be replaced or refunded if you do not receive your order after it's been shipped by us.

Package was returned to sender
If your order was marked returned to sender, it is most likely due to an address issue. Please send us an email with your order number and confirm your shipping address. 

Customer will be responsible to pay for reshipping order. We will send an invoice for the shipping fee and reship to the corrected address. Please note, we must receive the items back and have a repaid shipping fee before reshipping items.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do!

Will I be charged customs/taxes for international orders?
The prices displayed on our site are tax-free in US Dollars, which means you may be liable to pay for duties and taxes once you receive your order. 

Import taxes, duties and related customs fees may be charged once your order arrives at its final destination, and are determined by your local customs office. 

Payment of these charges and taxes are your responsibility and will not be covered by us. We are not responsible for delays caused by the customs department in your country. If packages are not claimed and sent back to our facility, we will not refund your order. 

For further details of charges, please contact your local customs office BEFORE placing your order.

 

CANCELLATIONS, EXCHANGES, AND RETURNS

Can I cancel my order?
Unfortunately we do not allow cancellations. All sales are final.

What if I bought a slime but want to switch it for a different slime?
Since each slime is created with a limited amount we unfortunately cannot allow exchanges for a different slime. We do restock weekly so feel free to grab the other at our next restock!

Can I return my product or get a refund?
Since each item is handmade, we cannot accept any returns or issue any refunds after the item is purchased. If you have an issue with your order please contact us at help@ammaslimes.com

Help! My container arrived cracked! What do I do?
We take great care in packaging our slime with bubble wrap and padding in order to protect the products. Even though we try our hardest to protect each slime, damage can sometimes happen during shipping. If your slime arrives damaged, please email us pictures and your order number within 3 DAYS of receiving your product and we will provide a solution for you.
